What is Mileage Club?

Mileage Club offers our students the opportunity to build self-esteem, improve their health, and experience their own personal power! Based on a non-competitive philosophy, Mileage Club focuses on the completion of both personal and collaborate goals. While running/walking is the core activity, Mileage Club participants also gain discipline, dedication and the skills to set and achieve goals as well as making new friends and having FUN!!!

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:05 a.m. - 8:20 a.m.

Where: Holmes Dirt lot on Northeast side of school (enter at Mount Brundage Gate).

Who can join: Students in Grades 1-5, parents, teachers and staff. TK and Kindergarten students may participate if accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

How laps are tracked: Mileage Club uses the EZ Scan 2 Lap-Counter App to track laps. Each registered student will receive a personalized QR code inside a lanyard to wear during Mileage Club. Students must wear their lanyards for the duration of club and must stop to be scanned by a parent-volunteer each time they complete a lap.

Note: All lanyards must be turned in at the end of club (not taken home) in order for students to receive credit for running laps. If a participant forgets to turn in his/her lanyard, they will be directed to return it to the Office before the end of the school day.
