PLAYGROUND SAFETY PRACTICES (LOWER GRADES)
Holmes Elementary School playground rules are designed to ensure the safety of our students. Our goal is to ensure that all children enjoy play time in a safe environment. Please read them over with your child(ren) to make them aware of the playground rules.
- Walk in the hall areas. Running is permitted on the gravel (DG) area. This will keep children from colliding or being hit by playground equipment. Sprinting/running on the blacktop is permitted in the relay lanes only.
- Keep your hands and feet to yourself at all times.
- Follow correct rules for games (see list of game rules).
